Hello, everyone! Without further ado, my favorite recipe is the refrigerator cake. It's not the usual biscuit cake as mine is done the Filipino way. It would not be considered that healthy because of the sweets, but it is a dessert I really love eating. Last 25th, my dad celebrated his 50th birthday and we could not think of anything to prepare so we made the refrigerator cake. Following through is the recipe along with the "instructions" on making it.
Any tea biscuit
1 can condensed milk
2 cans Nestle cream
1 can of Peach slices
1 fresh mango
First off, we mix the batter that consists of the condensed milk & Nestle cream; making sure there are no tiny particles afloat.
We'll leave it in the fridge for about 2 hours for the mixture to be well saturated.
Time for the actual plating of the cake itself!
Place the biscuits on the plate or any container and cover with the batter mixture for the all the layers that would go before putting the fruits. We usually use Graham crackers, but we used tea biscuits this time. It's not bad!
The layer goes like this: biscuit, batter, fruit, biscuit, batter & fruit where the fruits are alternate between mango and peach on each layer. When everything's up & ready, we'll leave it overnight to cool in the fridge.
Tada! This is the final result — the biscuit has turned so much better & I promise you, it tastes really good!
