Happy Sunday, y'all! Today, I'm gonna be writing about my bucket list or top of my bucket list. I honestly don't know if I should write just one being my top, or many , but let's get it started!
I never quite understood what a bucket list is like until I realized that I wanted so many things to happen in my life and wish that I could have great experiences while I'm still alive. As humans, we don't hold our time here on earth; some have fulfilled their bucket lists while some just left without even achieving or fulfilling even one of their heart's greatest desires. That's sad, but that's why bucket lists existed so we have a clue of what to make of our lives; what to work on and where to start. I have life goals, but I absolutely think that bucket lists are mainly for my pleasures, so the top one of my bucket list would be: to travel around the world.
Yes, to travel. I know that I wouldn't be able to travel the entire world as there are certain places that a Filipino can't go to, but I would seriously consider travelling to at least 2/3 of the world. Someday, I hope to be able to globe-trot and take a lot of photos, see wild animals, swim in a black ocean, step on pink sand, stand at the peak of the tallest mountain, swim with sea lions, converse with natives, help feed the hungry, teach street children and many, many more. But let's go back to the point: The Bible says in Proverbs 27: 1,
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
which simply means that no matter how many dreams we have in life, we surely can't boast about our tomorrows and neither can we say that we have everything planned. Life is but a mist — it comes and it goes. The next day, a dear friend or a loved one has passed, nobody knows. What we can do instead, is to entrust our every step to the maker of everything for,
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Let's learn how to treasure everything and everyone we have in life. It's good to keep a bucket list to remind us of our wildest dreams we yet have to achieve, but it's also great to live one day at a time.
SMALL STEPS YIELD BIG RESULTS
Hope this enlightened you somehow,
