Well, hello to everyone reading this! It has seriously taken so long before I found myself some time to write an entry for The Sunday Currently series. Anyone in here love Easter? I do! I totally love the refreshing feeling that comes along with it that it's as if I've never heard of the Easter story before. This day might be April Fools', but Jesus conquering death is no joke at all! It's one solid truth that we have in Jesus.
Aside from getting to spend it with my church family and relatives, I love how Easter also brings unity in the body of Christ — something that doesn't always happen, but is in fact possible.
That being said, here's an addition to my Sunday Currently entries. Hope y'all like it!
I haven't been stuck on a specific book lately, although I try my best to find a good book to read from time to time. Right now, I've been on & off with Karen Kingsbury's second book of her Sunrise series called Summer. It's a Christian-based book, but I admire how beautifully woven and family-oriented the story is. I have finished book 1 and plan to (hopefully) finish the 2nd book. Fingers-crossed!
This entry for the Sunday Currently Series which took forever in the making!
an old A.W.A.N.A. t-shirt and jersey shorts. Woohoo!
Oh my goodness! Pretty much lately, I have been addicted to the song called Reckless Love by Cory Asbury / Bethel Worship, and what a coincidence that it has been played at my church too! This song has been my go-to song whenever I feel like everything isn't going how I want it to be — when all the lies against me seem to be stronger than the truth I have in Jesus. Thankfully, this song made me realize how God truly loves each and everyone of us that He is even going thus far to endlessly tear down all the lies that the enemy sneakily throws at us.
I am linking 2 versions of this song in here if you would like to listen to it. The first one is spontaneous worship led by Steffany Gretzinger at Bethel church, while the second one is by Cory Asbury which is perhaps the original version? 😃
of the many things and decorations I still have to come up with for my sister's 18th birthday celebration this coming Saturday. God-willing, everything will turn out good as planned.
Grateful. This morning, I am just left in utmost gratefulness to the One who makes all things possible. I am also thankful beyond words for this country that I live in and for the freedom the government gave us to celebrate Easter Sunday with thousands of people at a public place — the beach. Not to mention that they have been so generous to us by allowing us to still hold our services where everyone has a space and a place. May Jesus fill them all with blessings over blessings seeing how they have been so, so good to us. Dubai has been and will always be home.

Thanks for making it to this portion of the internet. I am truly grateful for each one of you for reading my entries! Most of what I've written here are unspoken words — words I wish I could've said or shared with anyone in person but has remained in my heart until I was able to write it in here.
My life's full of downs than ups, but through it all, I have seen and tasted the sweetness of God's grace and love. With that, I can tell you with a convinced heart that God is faithful, He is good and He never runs out of love for you and for me. Hope you enjoy your read(s)!
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!
