As some of you may know, I've been a part of a fantastic three-day summer camp called KidsGames. I'm working on an entire post dedicated to KidsGames to let you know what happened there and what it's all about. ( It's on its way – I'm just running out of words! ) So for now, to make it up to you, here are the songs we all crazily DANCED to that made KidsGames a much more lively event and an enjoyable one – not just for the kids, but for the adults as well!
1. You Will Never Run by Rend Collective
You have to believe me when I tell you that the stage, in my own opinion, was literally about to fall. We were so hyper that we exaggerated the simple steps so kids would be energized just by seeing us. I wanna do it again!
2. You Are The God of Love
This song should serve as a reminder that our God is the God who loves us beyond our flaws and imperfections.
3. I Wanna Follow
I seriously love the actions of this song: a somewhat robotic type of movement. We never really stopped laughing when we were dancing to this because one of the team leader just danced so good that we were all trying to copy him and obviously failed. Hi Jeremiah!
4. One True God
This is a simple children's song that has a deep meaning behind the lyrics. Though its words are really easy for the children, its meaning really makes it clear that God never, ever changes.
5. God Is On The Move by 7eventh Time Down
Simple: God is on the move even if it means that He's working behind-the- scenes. Times when we sometimes don't understand what's happening around us. Love this song!
6. My Lighthouse by Rend Collective
This song is my favorite! I can't help dancing whenever I hear it. At KidsGames' last day, we, including the kids, had glow sticks on our wrists and everything just looked so perfect when the lights were turned off. I felt like I became free for a moment and forgot whatever was holding me back from becoming really, really happy.
I just praise the LORD for bringing KidsGames UAE to a success!

I live an ordinary life; striving and making it work in the giant sandpit aka Dubai. My life isn't perfect (I wish it was!) But I guess there's something about the imperfection in my journey that makes it worth the write and share. I believe that we don't have to have everything figured out because if we do, a lifetime won't be enough...
