I am so thankful I've got the time to write this stuff up. Honestly, I've seen this post on Twitter via the bloggers I follow.
It is an awareness campaign started by John Sennet ,hoping it'll give positivity to every blogger and reader out there. If you don't know yet, blogging is not an easy task. From really spending the time and effort , managing social media accounts all alone, and everything in between, it really is hard work.
If you want to know more about this campaign and want to be a part of it, head on over to thunderclap.it
As the main part of this campaign, I'll be sharing the reasons why I blog..
#iblogbecause I believe that minor voices can make it major. Through blogging, I can get clear to myself and what I want the world to hear and know. If I can't help the world through big, subtle changes, then hopefully I can be a part of something that aims for change in this society.
#iblogbecause I want to unleash the creativity within. Being a self-diagnosed introvert, I hope to develop the skills that are just there waiting to be used, to be conquered and to be constantly opened from time to time. Because of blogging, I get to be the creative person that I've always wanted to be, outside my comfort zone.
#iblogbecause I want to free my thoughts. Blogging really helps me turn my stress into words, feelings into poems and positive vibes into encouragement for others. Whatever my thoughts are, as long as I get the chance to write something up, I will and will always write whatever and whenever.
#iblogbecause it gives me a chance to practice my writing. Even as I blog right now, I try to learn from it as much as possible. Through blogging, I get to (hopefully) practice my writing – the reason for this blog.
#iblogbecause I get to be friends with people I don't really know! Blogging helps me form new friendships by finding common interests in people, guest posting for other websites, contributing articles on online magazines, joining blogger chats around the world, and many more. I can't imagine how blogging has helped me be someone I didn't know I could be.
So there you go! Hope you enjoyed the read and I wish you could join the campaign too!
I live an ordinary life; striving and making it work in the giant sandpit aka Dubai. My life isn't perfect (I wish it was!) But I guess there's something about the imperfection in my journey that makes it worth the write and share. I believe that we don't have to have everything figured out because if we do, a lifetime won't be enough...
