Well, hello to everyone reading this! It has seriously taken so long before I found myself some time to write an entry for The Sunday Currently series. Anyone in here love Easter? I do! I totally love the refreshing feeling that comes along with it that  it's as if I've never heard of the Easter story before. This day might be April Fools', but Jesus conquering death is no joke at all! It's one solid truth that we have in Jesus.

Aside from getting to spend it with my church family and relatives, I love how Easter also brings unity in the body of Christ — something that doesn't always happen, but is in fact possible.
That being said, here's an addition to my Sunday Currently entries. Hope y'all like it!

Hello, Beautiful People!
So glad I found the time to write an entry for the Sunday Currently - the first of 2018!
How has life been for everyone lately? I hope you all had a great time the past holiday season with your loved ones! I'm blessed that I got to spend the year-end with the people who are important to me, my friends and family. 2017 has been one heck of a ride, but I am so happy that we all survived it! Thankfully, Life has been steady and calm lately, and I can't help but to thank God for the peace He continually gives everyday. And it's no ordinary peace. It's that kind of peace of that passes understanding.  2017 may have been chaotic, but in between were moments where I truly felt God's presence more. Things did not always go the way I wanted, but His ways and His plans were all far advanced than what my limited brain could've ever imagined.
Here's my Sunday Currently entry for today 😀

Hello, everyone! Thank goodness I finally found the time to write another entry for The Sunday Currently series. Big thanks to my sister Angel for reminding me about this! So, how has my life been lately? I admit it's hard to keep up with blogging when I have just so many things to do. Church work has been hectic the past few weeks as I've been assigned to send e-mails and to help co-ordinate at our classes every Friday. I also got to teach multiple times the past month! Not that I'm counting, but I must say that I've never been this busy before, haha! I'm honestly down with cold & flu right now — just like my mom and dad which usually happens every time the weather drastically changes here in the UAE, so no worries! God's just amazing! Aggggggh, my words will just fail to describe just how awesome He is in my life. Okay, enough with my unfiltered thoughts. Here's the Sunday Currently vol 13:

Hello, everyone! So many things have been happening in my life lately. Everyday, I am learning how to live with the intention of making every God-given day count. I purposely cut short the time I use social media and I'm so happy to say that when we step away from the so-called busyness in life, it's where we can draw closer to God and He to us.
My mom has started working on her temporary job two weeks ago making almost all of her tasks as a housewife fall into my arms. The adjustment's very difficult as my mom hasn't been working since '09. I do help whenever I can, but I never cooked for our family full time. I do ironing, but my mom used to do the laundry. I never thought of what to eat every meal and what went missing at home. What needs to be bought and what time do we feed the pets we have. I've never been used to trimming our cat's fur balls either. There are so many uncomfortable moments that leaves me so anxious every single day. With my dad busy on his business and my sisters on their daily activities, being a stay-at-home 20 year old can surely suck at times. I don't know if you can relate, but I've never found myself this busy like ever before. I honestly feel like a mother more than a sister or a daughter when mom's not around. And take note, I've had to also squeeze in time for studying. People think doing house chores are so easy, but think twice. With the extreme summer heat across the country, I doubt if you'll ever want to do something sweat-producing, haha! This Sunday, I am just feeling so lazy like the cat above.  We just had our lunch & so I got this little time to write before I start to collect dry clothes, iron and/or cook for dinner tonight. *smirks*  Here's another Sunday Currently entry...

Hello, everyone! How did last week go for you? I hope y'all had  a great one. Mine went fine except for the last few days.  A friend we know recently passed because of a car accident (or avoiding a car accident rather). It was heartbreaking to know that just a few days apart would be Father's day. His children were childhood friends of ours and it was devastating to know how they'd feel after the loss.  So for the drivers here in the UAE, please be very alert and careful when driving. It doesn't mean that when the road is clear, you should relax as this is what often causes the accident — when you didn't see things coming along. Losing a loved one may be horrible but let's say that at the end of it all, we will all have to say goodbye to this earthly home and be welcomed in the next life— where pain and sadness won't exist anymore. Moving on, I thought of sharing with you a Sunday Currently entry because one, it's Sunday and two, I couldn't think of a new post yet :P

Here's my Sunday Currently entry:

Thanks for making it to this portion of the internet. I am truly grateful to each one of you for reading my entries! Most of what I've written here are unspoken words — words I wish I could've said or shared with anyone in person but has remained in my heart until I was able to write it in here.

My life's full of downs than ups, but through it all, I have seen and tasted the sweetness of God's grace and love. With that, I can tell you with a convinced heart that God is  faithful, He is good and He never runs out of love for you and for me. Hope you enjoy your read(s)!
