Let's welcome the very first guest post on my site by the beautiful, Ms. Lacey!
Cheers to all music lovers and fans of different bands and solo artists!
This new series I added to my blog is entitled my weekly playlists. Here, you'll read all about the songs I've listened to recently, including those that brought about different emotions as I played it. Music is the language of the soul and I believe that it does more than just inspiring people. Music helps me meditate and slow down during life's busy days, it helps me calm down and be still for a moment. Music is my ultimate stress-reliever whenever, wherever and however.
So, check this out!
LSS # 1 Song that made me move
-YMCA by The Village People
We had a Karaoke Night some days ago and I couldn't help but remember how crazy I've been during that time like never before. I really never sang this song although I heard it many times ago. This song made me dance all night long and had me dancing to it the moment I woke up the next day. Haha! Reputation? No, I don't know that word anymore. I've been crazy enough to think about what others think about me.
LSS # 2 Song that inspired me
-It is well by Bethel Worship
I've listened to this song just this year and I already love it. The message of the song gets into my nerves; telling me that no matter what I feel, all the struggles, the trials and hardships will soon pass away and for now, all I can say is.. It is well
Hope you get to listen to this wonderful song and get inspiration from it.
LSS # 3 Song that makes me feel in love
-God gave me you by Bryan White
I never really paid attention to this song until I got hooked up to the Philippines phenomenaltrending love team, ALDUB- the pairing of the pambansang bae Alden Richards and Philippine'sDubsmash Queen, Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub in the Philippine's longest running noon time show, Eat Bulaga! God gave me you is perfect for them because they believe that they're meant for each other no matter what hindrances are put before them, they still believe that forever does exist. Awww!
LSS # 4 Song I'd skip right now
-Drag me down by One Direction
The moment this song came out, I really had not even a single fiber in my body interested in it. Although the song is good, I'm not a fan of 1D even if my sisters love them. No offense to all Directioners out there but I really don't think that their songs are the type of music I listen to.
LSS # 5 Favorite song of the week
-Unstoppable God by Elevation Worship
This is my favorite for this week because I practiced playing it in the keyboard and guitar and until now, this song has got me singing anywhere I go. This song means a lot to me because it tells me to never give up come what may, because God knows everything and IMPOSSIBLE things can happen in His name.
So there it is! What about yours?
Tell me what you think about this blog and about this new topic.
Writing this is not really easy for me because I just remember all the good times I got to spend with my favorite cat, Anta.

Life is not always what it seems to be. It's not always happy, it's not always fun and it's not always easy. As crappy as it may sound, but it's the truth. Moments where we don't always get what we want, we don't always expect things to go the wrong way, or the hard way. All these are a part of the journey we call life. These they say, make us who we are. TRIALS. Trials don't always come to make things unbearable. They also come in our lives probably to tell us something.
Below are some of the things it does to us. I've listed 4 things and through these, I hope you'll figure out the amazing part of what seems to be unbearable at times, help us attain something in life.
Thanks for making it to this portion of the internet. I am truly grateful for each one of you for reading my entries! Most of what I've written here are unspoken words — words I wish I could've said or shared with anyone in person but has remained in my heart until I was able to write it in here.
My life's full of downs than ups, but through it all, I have seen and tasted the sweetness of God's grace and love. With that, I can tell you with a convinced heart that God is faithful, He is good and He never runs out of love for you and for me. Hope you enjoy your read(s)!
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!
