We live in a fast-paced world; truly enough our ability to adapt to the changes around us are extraordinary like never before. When we are introduced to new technology for example, we all look forward to owning that new mobile phone everyone has been dying to get their hands on. Furthermore, we as human beings have learned all throughout these years that everything was made for our good. Interestingly enough — not every piece of technology, fashion, beauty and art pieces out there may be beneficial to us. We then have the choice to choose which and what we should welcome in our lives — and that includes design.
I just read a new article on Desiring God's website entitled Before the throne of social likes. It is one of the best write-up I've read so far and has dearly spoken to my heart today. You see, when I was younger, I used to be that school-girl who got so addicted to using social media that I wake up social media, I eat social media, I sleep social media and breathe social media. Although it is absurd to think that way, it's been the truth that I have been living in until my early teenage years.
I live an ordinary life; striving and making it work in the giant sandpit aka Dubai. My life isn't perfect (I wish it was!) But I guess there's something about the imperfection in my journey that makes it worth the write and share. I believe that we don't have to have everything figured out because if we do, a lifetime won't be enough.
