iN NINE LIFETIMES, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW AS MUCH ABOUT YOUR CAT AS YOUR CAT KNOWS ABOUT YOU. -MICHEL DE MONTAIGNE
As a kid, I've always experienced being pushed to my limits and I hated that.
I hated it when my dad would tell me to do something in front of a lotta people. I just hated being in the front doing something I always thought was ridiculous and embarrassing.
Friday - a typical rest day after going to church. During noon time, my mom let Princess' kitten go out and enjoy some playtime in the living room with some of our cats and our one and only dog, Smally. We were watching some real life stories on TV, Instagramming and Facebooking as well. What we didn't know is the kitten who was just enjoying, accidentally hit one of our senior cats, Snow. Well what can I say, Snow is a very smart and beautiful cat but she hated kittens. So there she went scratching the kitten until Princess, its mom caught her and so immediately defended her little one. The good news is, Snow was able to ran away really fast without Princess knowing where she went. The bad news is, Smally was just around that area sleeping. Princess saw her and without hesitation chased her. I actually did my best to get rid of Princess right away. I spanked her with my slipper so hard but she still chased Smally. When one of my sisters got hold of Princess, there I went and took Smally who had a really big scratch with her skin tore open (about 3 inches long) on her left side. When I carried her, I pressed her wound to stop the bleeding. I hate blood and I just feel like vomiting every time I see it. But I had no choice. I had to, for Smally. Good thing is my mom was able to clean Smally's wound and put some medicine and bandage onto it. Perks of having a nurse at home. Ha-ha!
The thing I realized is that I took Smally for granted and I didn't even know what to do if something worst had happened to her.
Important lesson: Never take someone or something for granted even if it's just your dog.
-So far, Smally's doing good after being bandaged for 2 days. Her wound is healed. Oh so Happy!
Thanks for making it to this portion of the internet. I am truly grateful for each one of you for reading my entries! Most of what I've written here are unspoken words — words I wish I could've said or shared with anyone in person but has remained in my heart until I was able to write it in here.
My life's full of downs than ups, but through it all, I have seen and tasted the sweetness of God's grace and love. With that, I can tell you with a convinced heart that God is faithful, He is good and He never runs out of love for you and for me. Hope you enjoy your read(s)!
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!
