There are just so many things that I'm looking forward to; I hope, I wish, I pray that it will all come true, haha!
The first thing I've been looking forward to is the day I finish my studies. Education's really one of those things that comes close to the word success. Although it isn't a reliable indicator that one's life will turn from bad to good, we've seen how advantageous it is to go through life when a piece of diploma is available anywhere, anytime.
The second thing I look forward to are those that come next to education. Career, opportunities, travel etc. The future seems bleak right now, but I hope that in no time my goals will be within reach.
Third, just like any other human out there, I'm looking forward to the many TV shows or movies that are coming out. I've been really a fan of K-drama lately after watching the hit series "Oh My Ghost". I've heard that there's an upcoming show to hit on Philippine TV called "My Korean Jagiya". It's a story between a Filipina and a Korean guy. The best thing is that the leading man is a Korean himself. Never been a fan, but I'm truly waiting for it to start showing.
Fourth and last — marriage; family. I guess it's in every girl's dream to finally find that someone who'll be with her in life. I mean, when in your 20's, thoughts like these will resurface from every corner. You see a friend get married and have kids and you don't know if you're just a late bloomer or if it's not just your time yet. Truth be told, I'm really in no rush about this matter. Only God knows how much I wanna focus on my priorities right now. It's just that I can't really avoid the pressure especially when people mention this topic to me. It's very clear though that we women don't need a man to complete us. We don't need a boyfriend or the love life for us to feel validated or approved by many. Jesus died for us on the cross and our identity is found in Him, not in any other man. It's good to look forward to this very stage in life, but it surely isn't everything that life has to offer.
