Hello, everyone! How did last week go for you? I hope y'all had a great one. Mine went fine except for the last few days. A friend we know recently passed because of a car accident (or avoiding a car accident rather). It was heartbreaking to know that just a few days apart would be Father's day. His children were childhood friends of ours and it was devastating to know how they'd feel after the loss. So for the drivers here in the UAE, please be very alert and careful when driving. It doesn't mean that when the road is clear, you should relax as this is what often causes the accident — when you didn't see things coming along. Losing a loved one may be horrible but let's say that at the end of it all, we will all have to say goodbye to this earthly home and be welcomed in the next life— where pain and sadness won't exist anymore. Moving on, I thought of sharing with you a Sunday Currently entry because one, it's Sunday and two, I couldn't think of a new post yet :P
Here's my Sunday Currently entry:
I haven't been reading a new book or some book as of now, but I love this devotional I've been into lately. It's found in the Youversion Bible app which is entitled "Daring Faith" by Rick warren. It speaks about how and where a daring faith would take us. Often we don't know where we stand, but in the end, we live by faith and not by sight. Amen?

to Home by Philip Philips. Actually my dad's watching a movie called Parental Guidance which I think is a great movie for families. They used the song Home which I really love too.

okay and appreciative of the little things in life. My life may not be perfect but I guess it's that imperfection that leads me to a deeper sense of longing for something much greater than life itself. Sometimes, we don't know where we're heading, but it's important to take a stop and be grateful for everything. A pastor once told me: "Whatever you have in life may be what those poor children long for" which holds one of the greatest truths I've always believed in.
Over all, I just really want to stress out how important it is to thank God for everything. For the people we have in life and for the simple things that we often take for granted. Take a deep breath and live life just how He would want us to live it :) Also, if you're following me on Instagram, I would like to apologize for flooding your feed with giveaways. It's Ramadan and Eid is coming up so I thought why not try out the awesomeness of giveaways, right? Please bear with me, as always :)
Happy Dad's day to all dads and dads to be. You are awesome!
